Only $8.25 for three glasses of wine? Seriously?
As all the loyal Young&Stylish readers know, I am a staunch supporter of Thursday happy hour. This past week was long and the weather played with our emotions, so the need for liquid indulgence is paramount.
Today, I’m reporting to you live from Front Page, located in Dupont Circle. Although its usually known for it’s underage crowd busting a move to Jersey Shore-esque house beats on the weekends, Front Page during happy hour is a much calmer experience. What is normally a jam-packed bar area is now open and spacious, allowing groups to comfortably sit together without bumping into anyone. And with free wifi available, working or studying with a glass of beer, rail drink, or wine in your hand is easier than ever. (And cheaper, leaving you more money for Friday and Saturday!)
While Front Page offers happy hour specials Monday thru Friday, the best night to attend is by far on Thursday. In addition to the already established drink discounts (only $2.75 for select drafts, rails, and wines), Thursday night at Front Page also includes $2.00 Coronas (5:00 pm-close) and FREE tacos from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Let’s get one thing straight—I may have graduated college, have a job and a generous bank account, but I am in no way over free food. (And no DMV newbie should be either for that matter… or you are just an asshole.)
